Can you introduce yourself?
Hello, my name is Hamza Essabri! I come from a technical background: first I did a BTS in Mechanical System Design, then a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Design. Finally, I obtained an engineering diploma, which I completed under a work-study program as a design office engineer for an aerospace company. I then I spent 2 years on a V.I.E. placement with AWAKE Belgium, and have just extended this to a permanent contract as a consultant for one of the Group's aeronautical partners.
What are your main missions?
I'm a Project Manager. My objective is to carry out an innovative project on a test bench for testing aircraft compressors (in flight and stationary). My main mission is to monitor project schedules and risks, and to meet cost and deadline targets. In short, my main mission is to monitor and manage projects!
A typical day?
My typical day consists of leading meetings, making sure that each action is carried out by a player so that we can make progress on the project. Then I update the global schedule with information received from our supplier and collaborators. This information can have an impact on the project and on the schedule: we have to analyze it and pass it on if it's important.
